primordium of ink [2020]
“PRIMORDIUM OF INK”
Following the completion of datagraphs (based on photography and synthetically generated life), they become subject to a process involving real, flowing ink. The digital work is washed out with the addition of water. In a few minutes, pigment clusters dissolve partially and deform in the liquid environment. Adhesive forces combine the formations that have now been created to arrange completely new shapes. Unpredictable specimens have emerged from the 'digital primordial soup', photographed in details and printed out enlarged on a scale of approx. 1:3. These 6 pieces appeared during the early stage of producing the “fluid” series.
